Lea is a serial entrepreneur who has co-founded and served as CEO of three dental technology companies: 2C MedTech, REPLICATE Dental Technologies (now RTRS Technologies) and Lingualcare, Inc. Lingualcare was purchased by 3M Company in November, 2007. Post-acquisition, she was president of 3M’s Lingualcare subsidiary and a member of the management operating committee of 3M Unitek. Prior to joining BRIUS, Lea was the President of SheepMedical USA, a wholly owned subsidiary of SheepMedical Ltd, the #1 Japanese orthodontic aligner manufacturer.

Lea has spent her career building disruptive technologies with executive roles at OraMetrix, acquired by Dentsply (NYSE:XRAY), AutoTester, acquired by Compuware (now BMC Compuware), and marketing and international sales roles at XTRA On-Line, Micrografx and GeoWorks.

She earned a B.A. in Political Science (Cum Laude) from the University of Texas El Paso and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird, School of Global Management in Glendale, AZ. Lea serves as a mentor at Health Wildcatters, frequently speaks at start-up technology and healthcare forums, and is a guest lecturer at SMU’s Cox School of Business, University of Texas Dallas, Texas A&M Commerce and Dallas public schools.

Ruedger is an accomplished entrepreneur and inventor who has started five technology companies and authored +120 patents in intra-oral imaging, robotics, database technology and mass customization of dental devices during his career.

In 2002 he started Lingualcare, Inc., an orthodontic technology and services company, that he sold to 3M Company in November 2007. He is also the founder of OraMetrix, a dental technology company based in Dallas, Texas (acquired by Dentsply Sirona), and three companies based in Berlin: Natural Dental Implants AG (REPLICATE), 2C Dental AG, and XBranch Technologies.

Ruedger invented the first full-mouth intra-oral scanner in 1998, earning him the prestigious Innovationspreis from the German States of Berlin and Brandenburg. He holds a master’s in mechanical engineering and is a Toolmaker under the German guild system.

Joe brings over 30 years of medical device sales management experience, including building sales teams for some of the most successful startups in medical device history. He has excelled in strategy creation and execution. Joe is well-known for his ability to recruit and retain top-notch salespeople as well as create and foster an environment of innovation, best practice sharing, and a passionate focus on the needs of both the professional customer and end user.

Joe was instrumental in developing the go-to-market strategy and building the sales teams at both Align Technology (Invisalign) and OrthoClear in the dental space. He also built the sales team at InSound Medical, a disruptive hearing device manufacturer in Silicon Valley as well as Asante Solutions, an insulin pump start-up. Joe joined Ulab Systems, an early-stage dental company, as the Chief Commercialization Officer where he built the initial Sales and Marketing teams and developed the company’s go-to-market strategy. Joe was recruited by Brius Technologies to develop their Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Clinical Education strategy as the Chief Commercial Officer.

Joe earned a BS in Pharmacy from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Management from Golden Gate University.

John has over 30 years’ experience in operations and manufacturing of medical devices. He provides expertise and leadership in designing, procuring, and building manufacturing facilities, equipment, and supply chains with a special focus on start-ups. He has built organizations from the ground up to provide outstanding service and quality to his customers. He is known for his technical understanding and ability to solve issues quickly and timely and move manufacturing organizations forward successfully.

As Senior VP for Operations, John led, built, organized, and started the largest and most automated manufacturing facility for Medline industries in their history. He personally designed the layout for the facility as a state-of-the-art high speed manufacturing facility. He is a master at team building and motivating teams to produce at very high levels. John earned a BS in General Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy. He is trained in Toyota Productions Systems and Lean Manufacturing Systems.

Jeff has implemented orthodontic marketing and product management initiatives for more than 30 years at several start-up companies and at two global dental product manufacturing companies.

Over the past ten years, Jeff has focused exclusively on developing and marketing patient-specific aesthetic treatment solutions including the Harmony™ System, InBrace® and Brava® by BRIUS. Prior to this Jeff was instrumental in launching an orthodontic products division at one of the world’s largest manufacturers of tooth whitening products where he developed innovative products such as Gishy Goo®, Opal Seal®, and Tres White Ortho®. Jeff also brings international experience to the management team, developing sales and marketing solutions in North America, Asia and Australia for American Orthodontics.

Jeff graduated cum laude with a BA in Political Science from Weber State University followed by an MBA from the University of Utah.

Jason holds over 20 years of experience in the medical industry, specializing in quality and regulatory affairs related to medical devices, OTCs, HCT/Ps, cosmetics and nutraceuticals.

Over the last 10 years, prior to joining BRIUS, Jason previously served as the Chief Operating Officer for several device companies in the orthopedic and aesthetic spaces. He provided oversight across all functions related to quality and regulatory, ensuring quality standards were met and maintained. He also provided guidance and ensured proper regulatory standards were sustained throughout research, product development, manufacturing, and operations.

Jason holds certifications as an MDSAP Internal Auditor, ISO 13485:2016 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma Green Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, Project Management – Lean Process, a certificate in Executive Management as well as a Bachelor of Science and MBA.

Kathy is the Director of Clinical Education and Clinician Engagement for Brius Technologies. Kathy is a customer focused, hands-on leader with over 20 years’ experience in creating and managing strategic relationships as well as driving aggressive targets as a sales leader. Kathy’s prior experience includes roles as a clinical trainer with a focus on implementing the tools and expertise that drives success with professionals in the orthodontic industry.

Outside of work, Kathy has a passion for gardening and loves taking adventurous travels with her husband, Jeremy.

Matt is an accomplished engineer and computer scientist known for his expertise in software development and project leadership.

Matt joined Brius in 2019 at the early stage of the company. His tenure has been defined by a remarkable ability to translate visionary concepts into tangible outcomes, reflected in the successful design and implementation of cutting-edge Class I medical devices. With a foundation rooted in product management skills and extensive engineering expertise, Matt's multidisciplinary prowess equips him with a profound understanding of both technical intricacies and operational dynamics. This enables adept management of software developers and R&D engineers.

Matt earned an MS degree in computer science from Southern Illinois University and an MS degree in Industrial Engineering from Azad University, Iran.

With a dentist as his father, Milad immersed himself at a young age working in dental offices, fostering a deep passion for dentistry. After comprehensive testing in Iran, Milad ranked 48th out of one million students, which secured his admission to the esteemed Shiraz University of Medical Sciences Dental School where he earned his DDS degree.

Milad then furthered his professional training at the Prosthodontics Residency Program where he attained Board Certification as a Prosthodontist.

In 2019, Milad relocated to the US and two years later began work as the Clinical Dental Specialist at Brius Technologies where he leveraged his dental expertise and began troubleshooting orthodontic treatment plans, developing case planner software, training technicians, and preparing clinical presentations. Milad ascended to the role of Clinical Director in October 2022.

Currently Milad is attending the orthodontic residency program at the Georgia School of Orthodontics while continuing to direct the clinical development of the Brava System at Brius technologies.
