Brius Technologies, Inc., an orthodontic technology and medical device manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Lea A. Ellermeier as its chief executive officer. Lea will provide strategic leadership in the global expansion of the company’s core product, the Brava System, and will drive funding efforts for continuous innovation of the product line as well as its manufacturing operations, which are based in Carrollton, Texas.
Lea brings diverse entrepreneurial experiences in the med-tech and orthodontic space, most recently, as President of SheepMedical USA, a medical technology company that focuses on orthodontics and preventive care. Previously, Lea was the Chief Executive Officer of 2C MedTech, a provider of hybrid, aesthetic orthodontic treatments. Her extensive executive leadership spans over 25 years with multiple emerging start-ups in the med-tech industry, including serving as CEO and co-founder of REPLICATE Dental Technologies and CEO and co-founder of Lingualcare, Inc., an orthodontic technology and services company that was acquired by 3M Company (NYSE:MMM).
