Brius Technologies Unveils the Brava® Plus System: A Groundbreaking Advancement in Aesthetic Orthodontic Treatment
Dallas, TX — Brius Technologies (BRIUS®), a leader in orthodontic innovation and medical device manufacturing, proudly announces the launch of the Brava+ System. This next-generation orthodontic solution leverages the company’s patented Independent Movers® technology to discreetly straighten teeth from the lingual, or back of the teeth, where they remain hidden from view.
“We’ve redesigned each component of the Brava+ System to enhance clinical efficiency, ease of use, and to improve patient comfort,” said Lea Ellermeier, CEO of Brius Technologies. Beginning March 4, 2024, all orthodontic cases submitted to BRIUS will be designed and fabricated exclusively with the Brava+ System.
At the core of this innovation is the world’s first self-engaging brackets, which simplify insertion and engagement of Brava Independent Movers. A newly developed spring-lock feature, housed inside each bracket, prevents disengagement and ensure continuous, uninterrupted tooth movement.
“Once engaged, Brava Independent Movers gently and simultaneously move teeth in all six degrees of freedom, precisely following the doctor’s treatment plan,” explained Ruedger Rubbert, Chief Technology Officer at Brius Technologies. “Not only is Brava easier to use chairside, but it also shortens treatment time and reduces the need for monthly adjustments.”
Patient comfort was a top priority in the redesign of the Brava+ System. Brava brackets now feature a smooth surface with rounded contours for a better overall treatment experience. Additionally, Brava Independent Movers include a soft-coated anchorage base to protect the tongue, while the programmed arms work efficiently to deliver fast, comfortable results.
